Click of the Week – Ushuaia

As I look back on my week’s adventures, the boat journey through the waters of Ushuaia, Argentina, the southernmost city in the world, was the highlight of my week. We left the port in a boat of thirty passengers and visited various islands (Alice Island, Bird´s Island) along the way. We enjoyed the views of rock cormorants, sea lions, and Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, which has become a symbol of Ushuaia.

The picture featured here is the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse which guards the sea entrance to Ushuaia.

Click of the Week” features the picture of the week and includes a short commentary.

About Jan

In 2004 and 2010, I set aside time to travel the world in 3 parts. In 2004, I traveled to Thailand, Europe, and Pacific Northwest region of the U.S. In 2010, I traveled to 3 continents: Asia, South America, and Africa. I am not sure if I have a fascination with the number 3, but I seem to be constantly traveling by numbers.
